CONSTANT TENSION WINDER MOTORS

Reuland's Constant Tension Winder motors are widely used in the manufacturing of paper, film, wires, etc, where the product is often unwound, coated, and rewound. For winding applications, the product on drums or reels must be maintained at constant tension and constant linear speed.

Reuland's Constant Tension Winder motors are available in stall torque ranging from 1 to 2400 in-lb, as continuous duty, and in totally enclosed auxiliary fan cooled (A-TEFC), drip proof auxiliary fan cooled (A-DPFC), and totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure.

Frame NEMA frames 56 through 365, U & T frame configurations. Custom frames are also available, consult factory.
Construction Cast iron or Cast aluminum frame and end bells. Consult factory for Stainless Steel construction and/or custom design.
Enclosures Drip Proof/Open Auxiliary Fan Cooled (A-DPFC / DFAV / A-VENT); Totally Enclosed Auxiliary Fan Cooled (A-TEFC / A-TEFV / TEAV); Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV)
