2-SPEED DUAL WIND MOTORS

2-speed dual wind motors are most commonly used in applications where the speed ratio between high speed and low speed is anything other than 2:1. For continuous duty, 2-speed dual wind motors are usually offered in open drip proof or totally enclosed fan cooled enclosures with NEMA B electrical design. The customer has the option of choosing between constant torque, variable torque, or constant horsepower designs. Intermittent duty 2-speed dual wind motors are generally totally enclosed non-ventilated enclosures designed for 15, 30, 60, or 120-minute duty and have NEMA D electrical design.

Stator M-19, M-36, or M-45 electrical steel laminations. Other lamination grades are available upon request. Hand-wound to ensure balanced and symmetrical windings.
Rotor M-19, M-36, or M-45 electrical steel laminations. Other lamination grades are available upon request. Die-cast aluminum, copper, or copper alloy rotor construction.

Frame NEMA frames 56 through 449, U & T frame configurations; Custom frames are also available, consult factory.
Construction Cast iron or cast aluminum frame and end bells. Consult factory for stainless steel construction and/or custom design
Enclosures Fan-Cooled (TEFC); Auxiliary Fan Cooled (A-TEFC); Non-Ventilated (TENV); Open Drip Proof (ODP).
Bearings Heavy-duty Steel ball, Ceramic ball, or Roller bearings to suit specific applications.
Bearing Lubrication Pre-Lubricated Sealed or Shielded; Re-Greasable Open
