Proven Solutions

In Action

Case 1

Challenge: Design a 2-speed Mil-Spec motor to fit within the limited vessel hatch size.

Solution: With the performance requirements needed, conventional electric motor companies were not able to produce a motor that was small enough to fit through the existing hatch for installation below deck.

Result: Reuland was able to design a Mil-Spec motor that would physically fit and meet the motor performance requirements.

Case 2

Challenge: Corrosion resistance for motors in tropical conditions.

Solution: Developed a custom epoxy-sealed insulation system.

Result: Increased operational lifespan by 50%.

Case 3

Challenge: Noise reduction in propulsion systems.

Solution: Implemented brushless electric motors with optimized insulation and advanced materials.

Result: Achieved a 30% reduction in noise levels, enhancing stealth.
