CRANE AND HOIST MOTORS

Reuland's crane and hoist motors have fulfilled the needs of Crane & Hoist industry for over 50 years. Widely recognized by both the Crane Manufactures Association of America (CMAA) and the Hoist Manufactures Institute (HMI), a wide variety of designs and enclosures from fractional to 350 horsepower are available. Reuland’s Crane & Hoist motors are available in various speed configurations including multi-speed. Hoist designs are available from severe service to standby. Likewise, bridge and trolley motors from continuous service to infrequent duty are available. These motors are available in both AC induction and Wound Rotor designs.


Typical motors in this industry are 15, 30, and 60-minute designs in open drip proof or non-ventilated enclosures. However, a wide selection of alternate or custom duty ratings such as 120 minutes in a fan cooled or non-ventilated, or even continuously duty blower cooled designs for scrap-handling cranes are also available.

Rotor M-19, M-36, or M-45 Electrical steel laminations. Other lamination grades are available upon request. Die-cast aluminum, wound rotor, copper, or copper alloy rotor construction.

Mechanical Features

Frame NEMA U frames 145 through 365 and NEMA T frames 56 through 449. Custom frames are also available, consult factory.
Construction Cast iron or Cast aluminum frame and end bells. Consult factory for Stainless Steel construction and/or custom design.
Enclosures Fan-Cooled (Totally Enclosed); Auxiliary Fan Cooled (Totally Enclosed); Non-Ventilated (Totally Enclosed); Open Drip Proof (ODP).
Bearings Heavy-duty Steel ball, Ceramic ball, or Roller bearings to suit specific applications.
Bearing Lubrication Pre-Lubricated Sealed or Shielded; Re-Greasable Open
Balance Precision and/or NEMA Standard.
Insulation Class B, F, H and VPI.
Mounting Foot or Footless; Precision Bracket Mounting; Conventional C or D Flange; Metric DIN Flanges.
Accessories Encoders, Resolvers, Temperature Sensors, Brakes, Vibration Mounts and Sensors.
